We purchased Murk Head Farm in 1994, as a run down farm house set in 160 acres of very beautiful North Yorkshire countryside and some derelict barns! Today it is far from this.
From four farm buildings to four star accommodation
The location of this farm was crying out to be enjoyed so we converted the four redundant buildings into self-catering holiday cottages. The large cart shed, which also contained stables and a mill were converted into Stables, Mill and Painters holiday cottages. The remaining piggery is now unrecognisable as our single story luxury Honeysuckle Cottage.

My husband Robin farms the land with the help of our twin boys (at weekends) Henry and Giles, who now both teenagers, while our daughter Antonia is now at Cambridge University. We are a family run business and have a lovely black labrador, named Pye, who is very much part of our family too.
